The Appliances

The makeup for Friday the 13th: The New Blood were sculpted by John Carl Buechler, A.J Workman, and others. Kane Hodder, a fan favorite, is the actor to wear the appliances throughout the film. In addition to the facial appliances, there were also chest, back, and hand/arm appliances sculpted.

The Mask

The mask made for A New Blood were the smallest of the series, coming in at almost a half inch smaller than its predecessors. It is likely that the buck that created these masks derives from a shrunken cast or mold of the "Mystery Mask" used to create the Part 6 hocks. They were pulled in black ABS plastic and trimmed down to just outside the outermost vent holes. Then they were painted using white, grey, red, and brown paints. The hero mask had specific damage on it, being warped and damaged with a blowtorch.

Overall, 3 masks graced the screen and the buck produced a handful of other promotional masks, all shown to the right. 
  • The Hero mask resides in the private collection of Mario Kirner.
  • Both of the split masks have never surfaced.
  • The  promotional masks all reside in private hands.

The Outfit

The shirt worn by Jason in Part 7 is an extremely tattered and weathered Khaki Dickies Long Sleeve Work Shirt.
Given that the shirt in Part 7 is Dickies brand, it is very likely that the pants are Heavily Weathered Tan Dickies pants.
The boots worn by Jason in this installment were vintage black US Military Army Mountain Ski Boots, possibly made by Golden Retriever.
Weapons used by Jason in this installment vary, but the most notable are a Vintage 127H Imacasa Cornetta Machete as the hero machete, a vintage 24" Collins Machete as the stunt Machete, 10" Chicago Cutlery 44S Chef Knife, a saw-bladed weed wacker, a vintage single hit felling axe, and a True Temper Razorback Brush Axe.
