The Masks

The fourth installment of the Scream franchise sees another use of two different masks. For the hero mask, a deluxe Ghostface mask from Funworld, commonly referred to as a "2010 Apr-Jun EU stamp mask", was used and a  "production run" of masks was sent to set by Funworld themselves. In addition to the hero mask style, we also see the "reshoot mask" used in the opening scenes of the film. The reshoot mask was widely released at Walgreens and is often called the same.

The Costume

  • In the Scream 4 (2011), 2 Ghostface robes were used. One of a similar, but overall different, black sparkle fabric as used previously, and another of plain black fabric made by Debra McGuire. The robes followed designs of Scream 2 and 3 with rounded arm tassels and squared fringe.
  • The boots used for the film are Black Thinsulate Mil-Tec SWAT Combat Boots.
  • The hero knife used by Ghostface is this film was modeled off a Buck 120 knife, but custom made by production. Because producers did not want the handle of the knife "lost in the hand of Ghostface", the handle was extended as well.
