The Masks

In Scream 2 (1997) two types of masks were used, both of which were produced by Fun World. The main hero mask was a standard Ghost mask from Fun World, often referred to as a "Gen 2" with a cotton shroud. A second mask is known as the "RDS”, short for "Randy's Death Scene" due to its prominence in that scene, though it appears in some other places as well. This mask is identifiable by its distinct features and "Easter Unlimited Inc. (MK)” stamp under the chin. The (MK) is believed to be an alternate factory used by Fun World.

The Costume

  • In the Scream 2 (1997), Ghostface wore a robe made of the same black fabric from the Scream (1996) robes and were custom tailored and designed by Kathleen Detoro. It is worth noting that this design strayed from that of the first movie, having rounded arm tassels and  square fringe at the bottom of the robe.
  • The boots used for the film have yet to be identified.
  • The hero knife used by Ghostface is a polished aluminum production made knife modeled from the classic Buck 120 C General hunting knife (left), and the stunt knives used from Scream (1996) were re-used.
