The Mask
This film combines two classic Jason designs into one film, giving us an updated spin on the "sack mask" look from Part 2, and a new hockey mask for the remaining 3/4 of the film.
Of the masks made we know there were 2 sack masks created and an unknown exact number of hockey mask pulls, but at least 2-3. |
The Outfit
Jason's jacket in the remake was production made of 2 commercially available jackets. The undercoat is a weathered H&M Parka, and the overcoat is a Woolrich Stag Jacket, Barley in color. The Woolrich jacket is turned inside out, cut at about the mid-rib level, and sewn to the Parka. These are then HEAVILY distressed and weathered.
The shirt worn by Jason is a VERY dirty (almost light brown) white shirt with many holes and tatters. The brand is unknown, but with the state that it's in, any will do.
The belt on this costume is unidentified in brand, but we can see it is a plain black belt with a square belt buckle similar to that of the one used in JGTH.
Unlike most other films in the series, Jason sports a machete holder in this installment. It is custom made and assembled from a leather pouch, leather leg belt, horse reins, and horse bit.
Like the shirt and belt, the brand is unknown for the pants but we can see that they are dark jeans/work pants that have been heavily weathered.
The boots used in the Friday the 13th Remake were heavily distressed Basic Issue Desert Tan boots.
Jason is back at it again with a variety of weapons, this time using a cast iron fire poker (top row, left), production made machete (top row, second to left side), recurve bow (top), a beartrap (second from top), and a short handled double hit axe (third from top).
